Thomas Petroski

Instructor

Thomas’ entrance into audio engineering came through music. He began studying piano at an early age, and by fifth grade, was a church organist.  While studying Jazz Piano at Temple University in Philadelphia,  he began using synthesizers and soon began to work as a programmer and producer.  Several years later, he was hired as a full-time engineer at a busy studio in the Philadelphia suburbs. In 2007 Thomas moved to Texas to accept the position of  Audio Director for a large church. He enjoys all facets of audio work, from studio mixing, live sound, corporate audio, and sound-for-video.  His musical studies have created sharp ears, giving him an awareness of the nuances in many musical styles.
